Interior of 2001 program336 viewsJoe Bob originally wanted to introduce both CARRIE and ROSEMARY'S BABY. ROSEMARY'S was the opener, and I'd been planning to screen CARRIE as the closer, so some adjustment were made. This led to Joe Bob chiding me in front of the audience for closing the fest with BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, although I let the audience in on why BUFFY had to be re-slotted. (Neff)

Back of 1999 program332 viewsMEAT was a 16mm college short film that my friend Jim Turner directed. We also showed it at the 2001 Studio Marathon. Jim hooked us up with our source for the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE print. (Neff)
Interior of 2001 program332 views*Boy, what a (ahem) diverse cast for THE CONVENT. It had been playing the circuit for a few months and had been getting fairly good notices. The end result was a bit spotty, to say the least, but it was good fun nonetheless.
*SESSION 9 was well-received by the audience, and it remains one of my favorite Marathon premieres. Brad Anderson would strike again with the 2002 Sci-Fi Marathon screening of his HAPPY ACCIDENTS. (Neff)
